What have I been up to lately?

It seems I've been a ghost on my website lately so thought I'd share what I've been up to on the bead front. I joined in on the Beads of Courage 1000 bead challenge. I'm up to about 740 beads and have about 260 to go. I really love creating beads for the kids and hope it brings many smiles on their faces. I've found doing this has really opened up my creativity because it just lets me run wild with ideas with no deadlines, special requests and things that really bind up the creative juices. In addition to this, I've been creating tutorials for other glass bead artists who want to join in on this for Beads of Courage. I've teamed up with Soda Lime Times and my goal is to make a tutorial a month for Beads of Courage and Soda Lime Times. So far, 2 have been published and the 3rd is coming out soon. The tutorials will be put into a collection and the proceeds will be donated to Beads of Courage so don't hesitate to get yours!
