My name is karen and i make glass beads. I say that like i'm in an addiction group because that's exactly what it is. I've been making glass beads since 2002-ish.  It's called lampworking or lampwork beads.  Basicly I melt glass rods with a torch into "stringers" and make the beads and decorate with the colored glass stringer that I pulled.  This is done in my home studio.

All of my beads are kiln annealed in a digitally controlled kiln for strength and durability.

Bead holes are cleaned with a dremel diamond bit.
